MRI scans were performed in all participants using a 3-T imager (Achieva dStream; Philips, Best, The Netherlands), Inserm/Université de Toulouse UMR1214 ToNIC Technical Platform, Toulouse, France. Patients and controls underwent high-resolution anatomical images using a 3-D T1-weighted sequence (in-plane resolution 1 × 1 mm, slice thickness 1 mm, field of view 240 × 240 mm, and 170 contiguous slices acquired in the sagittal plane, repetition time/echo time 8,1/3.7 ms, flip angle 8°).
