Federico Nemmi combines its expertise in MRI and PET images processing with its knowledge about statistic and machine learning to develop and validate new methods for the analysis of multimodal brain imaging aiming to discriminate and predict the course of neurological, neurodegenerative and psychiatric diseases. Its research focus also includes the development of new tools able to combine imaging data with data from other sources (e.g. biological assays, neuropsychological data) to improve the diagnosis and the disease progression prediction of neurological, neurodegenerative and psychiatric disease. The methods developed are freely available at his GitHub page.
