ToNIC has been part of the NeuroToul Center of Excellence for Neurodegenerative Diseases since 2016.

A Center of Excellence for Neurodegenerative Diseases (“NeuroToul”) was created in Toulouse in January 2016. With the support of Toulouse University Hospital, it is now part of the international COEN network (“Centers of Excellence in Neurodegeneration”).

“This is an opportunity to bring together Toulouse’s leading teams in this field, creating a new collective dynamic that will make Toulouse’s teams more visible, more ambitious, and more competitive,” explains Professor Olivier Rascol, its coordinator.

Several hundred researchers, teachers and clinicians from Toulouse (CHU, Inserm, CNRS, INRA, Universities, Toulouse School of Economics, Veterinary School, etc.) are involved, among whom ToNIC is a privileged partner for research in brain imaging on Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis diseases.
