3D printing is a process for creating three-dimensional objects from a digital file. Prior to 3D printing, it is necessary to create a definition drawing with computer-aided design (CAD) softwares such as Fusion360, Blender, Freecas… You must then export this drawing in .stl format, and use a slicer to generate a print file that can be used by the 3D printer.
Since june 2023, Since June 2023, the ToNIC unit has been equipped with a room dedicated to 3D printing in a ventilated enclosure. The 3D printing room is located on the 3rd floor of the Baudot pavilion, in room 314, and is equipped with three 3D printers: two filament (extrusion) printers, and a photopolymerization printer.
